Curriculum and Integrated Science as at the time of the incident. 1. Council approved that Mrs. T.B. Edegwareshould be written that she has been exonerated.
    2. Council then directed that the Vice-Chancellor should direct that her half salary that was withheld during the period of her suspension be refunded.
    3. Council further directed that the Vice-Chancellor should issue a query to the Acting Head of Department, Dr O.P. Ajaja, for not being alive to his responsibilities. If explanation is unsatisfactory, he should be arraigned before the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC).

    Assistant Registrar Absconding from his duty post with effect from April 4, 2016 Faculty of Agriculture Council approved that Mr M.O. Ovrawah should be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from 4th April, 2016, when he absconded from duty.
    3 Dr A.C. Okolo Senior Lecturer Absconding from his duty post since the beginning of February, 2016. Human Physiology Council approved that Dr. A.C. Okolo should be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from February, 2016, when he absconded from duty.
    4 Mr Oghenenyore Evanson Akpobi Senior Accountant Absconding from his duty post with effect from October 23, 2015 Bursary Council approved that Mr. O.E. Akpobi should be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from October 23rd, 2015, when he absconded from duty.
    5 Mr S.A. Eyenubo Assistant Lecturer Non submission of results for Financial Accounting II (ACC 201) for Economics Department for the 2012/2013 academic session for the weekend degree programme and absconding from his duty post with effect from 7th February, 2015. Accounting and Finance 1. Council approved that the Department of Accounting and Finance should be directed to organise another examination for ACC 201 for the affected students.
    2. Council also approved that Mr S.A. Eyenubo should be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from 7th February, 2016, when his study leave with pay lapsed, and he neither applied for renewal nor resumed duty. Our records show that from 7th February, 2016 to date the university does not know anything about his where about.
    3. Council also directed that the TETFUND Office be notified not to make any remittance of TETFUND sponsorship to Mr. Eyenubo’s Institution of Study.
    6 Mr Robinson Chisonum Chief Typist Being an Accomplice in the receipt of the sum of N75,000.00k as inducement to issue fake degree statement of result of Delta State University, Abraka to Mr. Hubert Iyobebe Registry (Postgraduate School) Council approved that Mr Robinson Chisonumshould be warned to desist from conducts that will likely link him with anything fraudulent.

    Acting University Librarian. Theft/Loss of Eighteen (18) Computer laptops at the Asaba Campus E-Library.
    Library Council noted that there was no new information to warrant reviewing the matter by the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee (SSDC).
    Council then directed that Mr Aliagwu Kingsley should be queried to explain his misleading information on the second removal of the computers by Dr. Emojorho.
    8 Dr. J.O.T. Emudianohwo Lecturer I Alleged sexual harassment and extortion of money from students of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the Institute of Science Laboratory Technology programme, alteration and mutilation of results, insubordination- refusal to submit past question papers, marking schemes, answer booklets/scripts and results of courses examined by him, and poor administration of the department. Pharmacology and Therapeutics Council approved that Dr. Emudainohwo should be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from 12th August, 2016, for sexual harassment of some female students, extortion of money from his supervisees of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics in the Institute of Science Laboratory Technology programme, alteration and mutilation of results, insubordination to constituted authorities- refusal to submit past question papers, marking schemes, booklets/answer scripts and results of courses examined by him.
    9 Mr. M.L. Isebe
    Librarian I Allegation of implicating an innocent final year student of the Department of Vocational Education, Miss Evelyn Akwara, for examination malpractice and sexually harassing her. University Library Council approved that he should be demoted by one rank and stagnated for two years with effect from when he is due to earn promotion, in view of the fact that there were more revelations about the negative profile of the staff.
    10 Mr A.C. Akpokiniovo Lecturer II Allegation of sexual harassment of OMOKINIOVO Esther, FOE/15/16/234757 Educational Administration and Policy Studies Council approved that Mr A.C. Akpokiniovoshould be dismissed from the service of the Delta State University, Abraka, with effect from 12th August, 2016. Council also directed that the Police report which came up during the course of discussing the matter should be properly captured in the narrative.
